Hedrick signs with Pampers
New daddy Hedrick has a diaper dandy sponsor deal
Chad Hedrick is up to his ears in diapers at
home and the Olympic speedskater is making the most of it.
Hedrick said Friday that he’s signed a sponsorship deal with Pampers. The diaper maker’s logo has a prominent spot on the upper left front of his racing suit.
He became a first-time father eight months ago when daughter Hadley was born, and is excited about being a first time father..
Hedrick said he and his family will be featured in a Pampers campaign beginning in January. Pampers joins Nike, Clafis, & Adaptall as sponsors of the 2006 Olympic gold-medalist.
“It’s really interesting to me and my family, and we’re getting free diapers for life,” he said. “I’ve changed my share of diapers and I’m pretty good at it, believe it or not. I am really excited about this new association with Pampers."
Stephen Colbert, who hosts his own show on Comedy Central, recently became U.S. Speedskating’s primary sponsor.
